| A Board of Directors
provides policy direction and fund development for The Centre. The Board
hires the Executive Director who is responsible for the overall operation.
The Board of Directors works under a policy of gender equity with four male and four female and a male and a female director sharing the position of chair. Two positions are 'trans specific' to welcome and encourage trans participation. Nine of the current director positions are filled. She is the public relations spokesperson for The Centre and participates in the community development on behalf of the agency. Elaine Mari is the part-time Executive Assistant at The Centre. She is available on Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 9-5. Elaine schedules The Centre's room bookings, designs the Newsletter, and assists the Executive Director in the administrative work of The Centre. She can be reached at 604 684-5307. |

| Volunteers in the Reception Office provide many resources to our communities and to the staff of The Centre. Reception services provides welcome, information, referrals and support to those who drop in and call. They are also part of the administration team of The Centre, providing clerical assistance in addition to reception duties.
